ALABAMA and the little 13?....in the old days it was Ohio st,,Michigan ...and the little 8.. THE SEC HASN'T fallen that far,but as far as any REAL DEPTH give me the pac12 ........in the SEC #.3 LOOKS A LOT LIKE .#12
 
I could see more than luck involved with FSU beating anyone.. yep , they seem a lot more solid than any sec team other than BAMA... WHERE is my playoff ...:popcorn:there are at least 3-4-5 teams at this point that ought to get a shot(BAYLOR included)
 
ya , that's the hype ,,BUT TEAMS NEED A SHOT at each other ,,,not Wazzou or TEXAS TECH.. podunk state has noting to lose..FSU , BAYLOR and OREGON , CAN'T LOSE EVEN 1 GAME...but ya, I get the "every week is playoff" thing.. just some(most) of the teams involved(everybody but the contenders )have an advantage over the contenders because they got no shot... and therefore way less pressure to play well....:popcorn:
 
If you cant handle your conference playoff, you dont deserve a shot at the top dogs. Plain and simple. If the last 2 weeks hasnt shown that, nothing will. Most of these teams that deserve shots as you anointed them, will lose and be undeserving by your own standards

as long as that" rule",,applies to EVERY CONFERENCE(sec) , I AM ALL FOR IT... I really haven't endorsed any 1 team , nor will I............THE BCS.. can muddy the waters plenty without my help

You keep focusing on something that happen a lifetime ago (in ncaa football career time) Theres no danger of a 2 loss team getting in right now. Still possibilities of 1 loss teams though as this entire conversation is premature

not "focusing" on any one thing (other than equity),, how about we let the SEC worship get toned down along with the talent level of the conference (as witnessed yesterday):popcorn:but YOU ARE 100% CORRECT in calling SPECULATION PREMATURE...
 
You continue to ignore post after post of everyone saying the SEC is the best but im rooting for X (including myself) to focus on this insane hatred for any comment giving the SEC props for what theyve built.

You wanna preach equality, get off the power conference soap box and support all teams getting a shot. Its still lil schools being shafted by power conferences. The playoffs has not fixed that
