that is EXACTALLY what I AM DOING , THANKS FOR THE ENDORSEMENT!!:) ALSO ...no hatred of the SEC here. Just of the system that gives them a RECRUITING advantage they DON'T need by automatically giving them a berth in the championship game EVERY year:popcorn: there is a lot of good football played in that conference, they don't need any help from the bcs or a 4 team playoff committee

seems like MOST know that giving a 2 loss lsu team a berth was= to an automatic berth,,,what do you wan't to bet on a 1 loss sec team getting in over an undefeated team from a major conference,, so once again you want to argue with me and not about the system,,,,,

6 years ago. Its clearly not the norm. There were 7 teams with 2 losses that year INSIDE THE TOP 10. You have to look at the way that season evolved instead if just a blanket statement of "a 2 loss team was given a birth". Someone had to get in during a bad year. As the winner of the conference with the highest and most ranked teams, they deserved it more then the other 2 loss teams. They played an extra game that most conferences were not playing back then plus their 2 losses were over time games. They never got handled

If regularly 2 loss teams from this conference got in, you mightve had a point

you said "EVER" that is clearly not the case,,,, you keep changing your position to argue with me leaving the subject matter as "brain fodder", clearly "REASONABLE" minds would agree that the BCS has evolved into THE SEC+1,,, all I AM LOOKING FOR IS EQUITY... just because a system "IS" doesn't make it right....witness :"jim crowe" laws...the system is broke...hopefully the "new " playoff will fix that,, but anything with a committee doing 100% of the deciding will be more flawed than a system that rewards the BEST team(winner ) of every conference... keeping "creampuffs" out of a playoff should always take a back seat to MAKING SURE every team has a shot at the beginning of the season ,(,,, small conferences included),,, this will EVEN OUT recruiting ,,AND MAKE IT HARDER FOR THE" HAVES"(sec)TO MONOPOLIZE THE PLAYOFF(TITLE GAME) and keep the "have nots"out....

Hold up, will you address the lay out of college football that year and lsu birth. Who should've gotten in?

Im still not seeing an automatic birth. Just a conspiracy

What about that year an undefeated SEC team was left out of the championship game? Auburn deserved to be there more than USC or Oklahoma that year (this coming from a Pac10/12 fan!!!). Now THAT was a conspiracy.

CAN'T REMEMBER THE EXACT YEAR ,,WAS IT THE YEAR BOISE st. beat OK.?.... OR WAS IT THE YEAR UTAH BOAT RACED BAMA?(1 loss and people throwin' a fit cause the Tide got left out) or the one of a few years when an ACC team couldn't get in?(with a better record)... or OHIO ST. (OR ANOTHER BIG 10 TEAM) ... YOU are going to have to look that up and prove me wrong..... I will BET at LEAST one "minor"conference team went undefeated and 1 major conference team got left out with one loss ......PROVE me wrong:popcorn:

good point.. and another reason to have an EIGHT TEAM PLAYOFF:popcorn:

I'm just happy there will be a playoff. I'd prefer more than 4, but anything is better than this BCS crap. Heck, I'd even rather go back to the split championships than stay with the current format.
