As a die hard bucs fan I see your point but strongly disagree. Fire him on his giant losing spree and it will look way worse than if they do actually win a game or 2. I went to a bucs-falcons game in Tampa last season. It was a great game and his poor use of timeouts cost them a possible comeback. The crowd hated him then. And they actually having won a game since then. He is like a cancer in Tampa and it requires an immediate surgery to remove it...

I completly get your point. I never liked him with Rutgers and was hoping he would be a miserable failure in the NFL. Up here we knew what you didn't know, when he rushed the V formation it was typical cheap shot Schiano. If someone didn't follow Rutgers you wouldn't know what a dislikable egotist he is.

I would gladly trade freeman for schiano any day. I think he is a above average player who was a victim of a terrible coaches biased railroading efforts.

oh no doubt. i thought he had big potentials. it's obvious the change of coach derailed his career. not saying morris was great but the team played for him. i thought the plug was pulled too early.

this is real life though. i'm sure some of us have had a job where we got a new supervisor who wasn't as impressed as your former supervisor or they just wanted to bring in their OWN people.

now back to if freeman is faking this concussion. he doesn't mention it during or after the game. he doesn't mention it monday, he's named starter tuesday, he opens his mouth about concussion syndroms wednesday. is he buying time to learn the play book and get ready? i woudln't want to face green bay this weekend after the embarrassing efforts on monday night either

To me its only embarrassing if you don't account for his short time there. He had flashes of greatness. And the D wasn't that great either, not to mention the lowly run game. so the blame isn't solely on freeman. That being said I doubt he is faking, not his style IMO.

I don't think Freeman is good at all. Period. He had an opportunity to do SOMETHING under a new coach and failed miserably. You don't need to know a playbook to complete a pass. His throws were high, inaccurate and he was playing scared. I think the team faked the concussion to save face for him and them.

if it's not his style to fake a consussion, why bring it up at all? he should've kept his mouth shut and played through it

Did you even watch the game? Most of the terrible passes were route confusion. There were several passes that were a tad off and that can be chalked up to not being in sync with the receivers. And to suggest that knowledge of a playbook isn't a necessity to compete in the NFL is insane.
