I guess not. History says Tebow was more successful his rookie year then Peyton.

If your gonna state what history says at least get it right. Tebow was not a rookie when he took Denver to the playoffs. He was in his second year, now go and find Mannings results from his second year. You'll see a huge difference between the two

Ok...you got me there but he was not the starter

As a member of the Denver Broncos, he(Tebow) started the last three games of his rookie season and became the team's full-time starting quarterback beginning in the sixth game of 2011. The Broncos were 1–4 before he became the starter
And they went to the playoffs with a 1-4 start.

So Manning rookie year was definetly better the Tebows.

Now compare Mannings second year, after going 3-13 his rookie year. Manning went 13-3, won the division that had 2 other playoff teams in it. Tebow went 7-4 in his starts and won the a weak division by default, loosing the last three games of the season. Manning also made the probowl.

Should we compare manning to Tebows third years?

We can't compare the 3rd year because Tebow was buried already. Jets just got him for the overblown attention. They had no intention of him playing at all.

Which this is point I've been trying to make. When Tebow was given the chance he did good. Of course he can't do good when he's on the bench. Did Manning do good the year when he had surgery? Of course not... he didn't play.

Burried? OMG he burried himself because of his inability to play QB on a team that had pisspoor QB play to start with. If Tebow is such as football talent then why does he not dominate when on the field in preseason games? When given the chance to play he did a few good things, far from doing good. 46% completion is good?

Now you want to like Manning being injured to a heathly Tim Tebow :duh: Ok well we can. You had an injured Manning who missed an entire season with a career threatening injury that required 3 surgeries. Yet you had 6 teams chasing him and willing to sign him once the colts cut him loose. Now you have a healthy tebow and the only team willing to take a look was the Pats and they cut him.

The guy is not worth a roster spot on an NFL team at the QB position. If he had the passing ability required for the NFL level he would be on a team somewhere.

I think Tebow Should be given another chance, just not as the starting QB, he is not the best passer......but he does have the drive and determination to be a winner regardless; I wish the chiefs would have picked him up as their 2nd string QB.
