I'm the same way. It's no seacrete who my team is but once they are eliminated I still watch the games. We all have teams we like and teams we dislike to varying degrees. For me Miami has always been my favorite AFC team going back to the Don Schula, Larry Czonka and Mercury Morris days but I still Like the Jets. I always liked the Packers, Steelers, Redskins (I know they are in my division, but John Riggens and Joe Thiesman were great), Arazona & the Raiders (I mean who can't like the Raiders an NFC team in the AFC West at least in the old days) the Seahawks were always a team I liked too (Steve Largent). I like the 49er's they had some great teams but the West Coast offence was considered sissy footbal back in the day. On the dislike list Dallas and New England top my list of dislikes. I could do without the Saints too. I was never a big Denver fan (the whole orange thing bugged me) but I like them more now with Payton Manning. Like I said in a previous post once the GIANTS are out I can pick and choose who I want to win or root for without the acita that goes with your team playing. I'm pretty sure everyone that's been watching football their whole life can put a list like this together. The rest of the teams I don't really care about one way or the other, especially the newer teams with no real history, Panthers, Jaguars, Ravens, Texans, Titans............etc.
What I don't respect are team jumpers or people that get on a bandwagon with no real allegance. Where were these "fans" when the team sucked?
