We are all entitled to our opinions and thats great. MIne just happens to be that if people like soccer so much keep it in the world cup and thats all. Nobody cares about MLS and nobody in the States cares about European leagues so why do people in the states have to deal with watching highlights of the Rapids and fire coming to 0-0 tie (talk about excitement). Soccer should be every four years with the world cup and thats all.
hope it aint truer, and if it is, hopes he leaves asap lol. i think arsenal (as i support them) have a shot. im hoping chelsea will have so many world class players that they will all fight about whos playing, and although they are good individuals, hope it dont work out as a team... cant believe they STOLE ashley cole. and then after that, why would they want carlos?

I know sorry i thought at first when i opened this thread we were talking about a real sport like football were a strategy and pre-game planning actually come into effect. Where as in soccer all you need is an acting degree so you can fake contact and get another guy kicked out... OHHH what a game... Maybe thats why all the fans in South America and Europe start fighting its because its better than watching the game.
Well Davo. Atleast you should be thrilled you haven't lost Henry yet. I'm not to big on Mourinho signing all of these players but he's sold a few for quite a bit of money. Tiago last year for 15 million euros. Del Horno for 7.5 million. Gudhonssen (sp) for 12 million to Barcelona, and Damien Duff for 15 million to Newcastle is a pretty penny. Enough to pay for Shevchenko, ahahha.
Obviously you're interested enough in it to waste your valuable "strategy" time to slum with us losers. Or maybe it's because you are bored enough to come here and pick fights. I enjoy both football and futbol. I hate shallow, obstensibly-thought out bully opinions. Soccer does have its own set of limitations and irritating play, just like American football (i.e. pass interference, illegal blocking, don't touch the qb too hard! - not to mention the albatross that is the Arizona Cardinals), but that doesn't make your opinion interesting, compelling, or worthy of any more attention than Jim Rome's. At least he makes his opinion entertaining ...

maybe not everyone lives a sheltered life and does take interest in european leagues as it will effect things like the world cup. also, saying FOOTBALL should be kept to the world cup is the STUPIDEST thing ive ever heard.

Hey needle dick Id love for you to fly down to South America and say this exact thing to them and see the type of thrashing youd get. Only an ignorant person like you would say something so stupid. Check your stats before you open your trap and realize that the world cup/ the european championships/ copa libertadores / and all the domestic leagues will get far more exposure and be viewed more by people around the world than the NBA playoffs/ the Super Bowl and the World Series. So all in all i think a little more respect should be shown to the sport that is beloved all around the world.
