fantastic football by liverpool last night! :D it's unfortunate suarez didnt get a hat-trick. now hoping tht arsenal vs man united will get a draw. hahah YNWA.

As a predominantly US site I think the vast majority of Europeans convert their measurements to what the majority uses so everyone is on the same page. However I don't see why we should change the name of our national passtime just because your younger less popular sport took its name. If you enter a thread and see it's about football and not american football you don't need to stay. Comments like 'oh it's not real football' are bound to get a prickly response.

Lol, ha I guess you didn't like my sarcastic laughter, looks like I hit a raw nerve also; and no I believe the raw nerve you hit was from you implying that American football players were sissies because we wear protection :confused:. I do agree our sport is younger and less popular on the international stage (you guys once ruled countries in every continent), and Cricket has more fans than American baseball; but sissies, no I don't think so, I believe if you would have ever seen or talked to some of our NFL players you would change your mind, they can compete in strength, speed and agility with the best in the world of almost any sport ;). Like I said before I like Soccer/Football and Rugby, I just like American football better and that is what originally brought me to this thread; no hard feelings all professional athletes are pros for a reason and every sport has fans for a reason.....in the end "its all good".

looking at the league table as a man city fan a draw today would be the best result for us , but also being a city fan means anyone but united so come on arsenal ;)
 
Just won my own game 6-1 scoring a penalty :D

Now only for the Arsenal and Stuttgart to win and it'll be a great day.

yeah, im glad tht City won their first premier league title, but nver on United, and nver will. hahah but Liverpool comes first. xD they need to qualify the UCL next season and if possible, win the title this season. :) YNWA, and YNWA to City as well. :thumbsup:
 
My son's league has to balance out the teams more. Our record was 1-9 this season. In my defense(I'm the head coach), its not fun to see a team made up of second graders and first graders play against third graders.

Last name was 3-2, with my son scoring all of our two goals. In total, we scored 6 goals in 10 games and unfortunately my son was responsible for 4 of them...
