I agree with you. The guys that Mizzou have as clutch players is Leo Lyons and DeMarre Carroll. Carroll is a hardnosed workhorse, while Lyons is the talent. They are both seniors on an otherwise fr/so dominated team. As you pointed out, no one really knows them, but limited exposure doesn't help. They were expected to be nothing this year, so they have nothing for televised games. They just happened to play Kansas, who gets tv time.

As for the OK/KU game, Griffin missing was huge, but Kansas did somthing by getting TAYLOR Griffin in foul trouble, and putting him on the bench. They took Austin Johnson out of the game, too. He's the playmaker. Without him, all they had was Warren making shots. That obviously wasn't enough.

I really like Leo Lyons, and he obviously played huge in the first game vs KU, but I really think Carroll is over-rated. Being tough doesn't get you everything, you have to have talent.

Getting Taylor Griffin in foul trouble was huge and the real turning point in the game. I think OK had a 12 point lead when Griffin went to the bench with like 12:50 remaining in the first, and Kansas was only down 2 points when he came back in at 9 something...

ya i didnt think we would hold that number 1 for that long, we also have a tough end to our schedule. Last two games are marquette and uconn again, this time at home though in the ZOO!!

Those two will be tough games. But I have zero doubts that they can win them both. You never know, though. This year has been crazy with the ups and downs. Great atmosphere.

Yeah, Carroll gets by on will. It works in college, but will doubtfully get him any further. I hope for him that it does, but not likely.

haha Booker is legit, and hes like 6'6 which makes him all the more beastly and dont forget bout KC Rivers who can be a scoring machine when he has too....if we can finish the season strong it should be a fun ACC and NCAA tournament

I wouldn't be surprised by any team that won the ACC tourney this year. They all just keep knocking each other down. It's like they just take turns to see who can get the highet in the polls, then chop them down. At the beginning of the year, I was sure NC was running the table. Now, I actually see them as one of the vulnerable teams.
