as far as news, mostly I go via internet because the reporting on TV is so unbearably repetitive. drives me nuts. no 'outside the box' research/thinking now. Reporting all just hammers away at the same crap. The speed at which they have to produce material in time for broadcasting is the death of real 'investigation',.. needing FAST product for public consumption.
Unique aspects & details take at least 'some' time and effort to ferret out.
IMO. been watching the process decline for decades.
yeah I'm just old enough to remember when there were more unique facts revealed from day to day. and we actually got excited seeing things unfold.

Just to clarify an earlier comment, when I said "you have to seek the information", I literally mean it's not on your television or front page of newspaper. The Internet is your free will. You don't have to click on any of the links. That's far different then what happen with Flanagan and Dylan and everyone before them......but if you really think someone who's never committed murder before is going to become a mass murderer no matter what, there's nothing anyone can say to change your mind. I happen to believe theres many factors at play here that lead to these situations, not just they're "nut jobs"

Hello; That there are many factors at play seems a reasonable assumption. To assume often means we are trying to figgure things out without all the facts. For each individual some set of factors led them to do the act. Is there some sort of check list of factors that can be gone thru or is even known of?

Hello; I tend to ignore the ads so have not noticed. I looked around and do see that the commercial portion of the site is large. Do the ads seem to be targeted to you? I did a search back in the summer about floor installation tools. Since then ads show up when I am on line. I have not paid attention while on this forum as to targeted ads.

Not that I'm aware of. I find it interesting to find what makes these people tick so I always hunt down their social media postings, manifestos, last words, etc etc. they all vary slightly. Most are introverts and are unable to overcome whatever hardship they're experiencing. So they've given up on life. I think it's cowardly and sickening to take people out with you when you decided to tap out....but there's no fame in hanging yourself or a bullet to the head in the privacy of your own home. They're after the fame and revenge

I notice new ads in places I haven't seen before. They have mainly been from a fish store, Koi dealer, also to sign up for Facebook.
 
An Amtrack train in Vermont derailed earlier today....said to be due to a rock slide.

I freaking hate when i'm shopping and someone leaves the shopping cart in a parking spot when the damn shopping cart rack is like 3 car spaces away

that drives me nuts!!!
