Heard something similar where a classroom had to dress up as a muslim but some refused and the teacher gave them a failing grade.
We should be careful...we are already pushing it with politics, bring religion into the mix may be too much.

I think it does matter in the scope of the article.I would like to know why that teacher would require that the students recite those incantations and why the subject is even in the curiculum,if it is....Doing an assignment such as a book report or essay on a particular religion is one thing but having to recite certain statements is quite another....kudos to the parents for confronting the school on the matter.
I agree. There were petitions to take the God part of the Pledge of Allegiance, this article posted is much worse than that imo.
There seem to be quite a few of these sorts of cases popping up in schools across the country more and more.The thing with the Pledge of Allegiance is just ridiculous but nowadays you have so many groups looking to push their beliefs and agendas on everyone else it's almost scary.....people had better wake up and take a good look around themselves before it's too late.
see the pledge of allegiance thing bothers the hell out of me. We aren't saying or mentioning a particular god or diety just GOD.

Yeah i have a feeling we would agree on what ever statment you would make pops but yes lets not get this thread locked. I like the fact that others have the same concerns.
So,is anyone here planning on purchasing a pair of the six hundred plus dollars ultra exclusive limited edition and only released in a few select cities new Air Jordan basketball shoes?...fools were camping out in front of some store here in order to buy theirs LMAO!
