hello; I was in another KY county, Harlan, not far away for work. About an hours drive away. I was 62 when I moved back and most of the people I knew are moved or dead. Of the few I know that remain there has proven to be little social contact. I have made some new friends but assume I could have made such in other places.
Another thing is that while the place is familiar there are enough changes in the place and in me that it does not feel much like going home again. I may as well have gone to some place entirely new. I have considered moving again but so dread the act of moving.
Of course there may be the possibility that I would not be any more satisified somewhere else. I know my coments are vague. Let me say to those who pine for a childhood home town when you get old, my experience is that it is not what I had imagined it to be. I have an OK place to live but it no longer feels like home.
That sucks.. sorry for the questions btw, just very interested in living conditions in the US.
Btw.. is it me, or is it every few months that we have a new member (usually male teenagers) that comes on here with no tank and makes 100 threads about stocking massive tanks they will build "sometime soon" lmao

Well after thinking about it I've decided to downsize it to xx,000 gallons.
Then he'll post pictures stolen off the net and someone will recognize the images and call him on it and the whole process will start again.
