I'm covered by hr218 so I carry it everywhere in the US
Plus a 9mm jacketed hollow point 147gr subsonic is a amazing round and I have tested it vs many other calibers and would choose it any day
well known I carry a glock every ware, I do my floors, replace water heaters and mow my lawn with my glock, its just one of the tools on my belt along with my multi tool, keys, knife, mini mag light. I prefer the g27 40 cal. yes I know the debate goes on, 40 cal being a high compression round like the sig magnum. I find the g4 27 comfortable to shoot with the 180g. 9 plus 1 capacity is fine for me, the 9mm is a great round also, I just prefer the 40.
Hello; Back in the 1990's I favored a 911 series 80 commander in 45ACP. Did some work on it and added some parts and got it to the point of being a decent shooter. Tried a 40 SW and eventually traded the 911 for a S&W 4006 in 40 cal with 10 +1 capacity. Similar energy to the 911. The S&W had some operation features that suited better and was stainless. A bit too big for full time carry. A feature that sold me was how the rounds held up over a distance. The 45 would drop many inches at 50 yards plus while the 40 dropped much less. Never fired a glock in the 40 but do expect some hard recoil.
Hello; For those of us in the eastern portion of the USA there may be some shortages of gasoline for aa while. The Colonial Pipeline explosion of a couple days ago in Alabama may take a while to be repaired.
Just read an article saying those of us inland may not have other easy sources. Those on the coast might get supplies easier. I am in Tennessee about 60 miles from one of the main fuel storage depots for my area.
There were outages of some grades of fuel a few weeks ago when the same pipeline had a leak. A few stations had no premium or midgrade.
I did not find information about how severe the damage was to the pipeline. It seems a worker was killed when the pipeline was struck with some sort of equipment.
I am retired so do not have to go very often. I also have my truck and car full of fuel. Got into the habit of keeping them close to full some years ago.

Hello; I was not aware of the NJ gas tax hike. There has been talk of raising the gas tax around here. Their thinking seems to be that we were use to higher fuel prices of a while back so we can stand the higher taxes. More tax revenue generally equals more wasteful spending no matter what the excuse given for the need to raise the taxes.
Also the article predicts higher fuel prices due to the pipe explosion.
Just waiting for the ripple effect. Gas will go up everywhere to make up for this vacuum.
Yes,I live very close to a few bridges to New Jersey and a lot of people in my area will drive across to fill up at the stations that are just on the other side and then drive back here.Personally I never bothered unless I was going over there for some other reason but the gas prices in New Jersey have always been appreciably cheaper than they are here in Pennsylvania but I guess the governor's tax hike puts an end to that.
