Hello; A short and incomplete answer. It is my understanding that the founding fathers were very familiar with state sanctioned religions and also the history of such government+religion pairings in Europe.

They wanted to be free of the possible oppression that can and has happened when a particular religion becomes controlled by the state or the state becomes controlled by a religion. As I understand things the constitution forbids a state sponsored religion and allows for freedom of religion from most controls by the government. It follows then that any government building, agency or such is not supposed to have any religious trappings attached to it. Public schools, courthouses, government buildings and such.

Lots of controversy about this. There is much more to all this and it has been cussed and discussed a great deal.

As I said above, maybe people need to unknot their knickers and get over themselves. Idk, I'm not nearly wise enough to take all this on and fully comprehend it..

Reptiles are the prime suspects for natural parthenogenesis. One hybrid lizard species is all female and reproduces without males.

Oddball also bred polypterus through artificial parthenogenesis

Amphibians also do this. apparently with one frog species pricking the egg with a needle caused it to start development. quite interesting
