Doesnt it puzzle you why its such a hotly debated topic ? I mean take away the politics how can anyone be in favor of it. It baffles me
Hello; I think I sorta understand why some are in favor of it. By it I mean the open borders attitude and the refusal to say "radical Islamic terrorists". I doubt that I can explain what I think I understand, at least not in a few paragraphs.
An example, in the movies where a group of people are confronted by an implacable enemy. Sci-fi movies especially. Some guy/gal always says why don't we try to talk to them or some such and then walks out with a white flag (like an alien knows a white flag from a peanut). The aliens then sap him/her down.
Another well written take in in a book I am now reading. It is called INTERCEPT by Patrick Robinson. He covers this question quite well in the first chapter. He also co-wrote Lone Survivor which was non-fiction.
Too many tv shows like star trek the next generation and movies where there is usually a non-violent way to solve big problems. Or movies where the good guy never actually kills anyone and yet dodges bullets and such.
I think I understand how they think. I simply believe they are dead wrong about it.
I am sure north Korea drools over those photes. They may be next,
