didn't say that right, it would be checking for congestion around her heart... some medication can help that.

The thinks we'll do for our dogs...I once had to puree food for one of my dogs when she developed lockjaw. then I had to spoon feed her a tiny bit at a time cause at that point there was still an 1/8"gap but that's the farthest we could open her jaw. Took many months before she got better, but at least we got to spend a lot of time bonding with each other.
In her younger days: the big dog on the right, with the chihuahua pup who's taken over her bed ;-)

my dog turned 13 on the 5th of July I have had her sens she was 4 weeks old ( her mom had 14 pups and stopped feeding them at 4 weeks) ..she has slept in bed with me nearly every day of her life..spoiled rotten and healthy!
Last year we found at tumor in her mouth..the vet said to expect the worst but it was not cancer witch is rare for a mouth tumor ..it does not affect her nor has it grown..we just have to soak her hard food in water so she can eat more comfortably.
she still acts like a pup..you know with out the chewing and general puppy stuff . Love my baby and I hope I have many healthy years to come with her.
