by definition it isn't a parasite

and who would refer to their unborn baby by that?

Actually it's the definitive parasite.

•Biology. An organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host.

Lol...learn something every day.I've always thought of the term in the negative, kinda makes me pause when I refer to my neighbors as parasites.

Lol Krich!

PARTY AT CHUB'S HOUSE!!! (Er....if he ever makes it back there again...) :/

Just had a lady who teaches at at local prison come to one of our classes ("craft talks") to speak about the inmates and their creative writing. They published a book and everything. She had video of them reading their work and it was incredible. Definitely something that tugged at the heart strings. I might have to get the book. All the proceeds go back to the prison for books and stuff for the inmates. It's kind of cool.

I guess it depends on what dictionary you got it from. dictionary.com says it's a organism sheltered in or on another organism OF ANOTHER SPECIES,.....

either way, even by the definition you provided I am still correct. it does contribute to the "host". it makes her happy as hell she's expecting. it also gives her the privilege to make one miserable daddy-to-be have to cater to her every need. that's contribution right there all due to the so called parasite

but we all know a baby conceived thru reproduction isn't a parasite. and parasites don't get born to be cared for, breast fead and raised by it's host. but I didn't have to tell you all that did I?

Me obviously ..its a joke so calm down. :P

why do I need to calm down? did you assume I was upset?

My dog is weakening but rallies to follow me room to room.
She won't let the vet see her symptoms, then tries to improve at home afterwards.

Last night I laid on the floor with the best-hearted girl I've ever known in my life.
Can't say I own her, for she has owned us all since the day we met.
If love can impart strength, she'll have a little more time.
I hope tears don't work against us.
