Beef jerky is done. I messed up slightly on the marinade, but the meat itself turned out great. Next time I will change the marinade.

So I hauled my 9yo out with me to try and catch the meteor shower with me. She kept playing her 3ds and i demanded she stopped and looked at the stars. I commented on how pretty they were, this generation kid says "why do people look at stars? We have tv."

we carried our 2 yr old g-grandson out and were pointing him up to look at all the pretty stars in the sky (it's so clear & bright up here).

He said "Oooooooooooh. Chicken stars."

I was thinking the same thing. Memory foam mattress for camping? How about getting off your arse and do so much fishing, swimming, hiking, shooting, dirt bike riding that youre so tired you could care less where you lay your head at the end of the night.
