In my case, Eddie would be able to give my kid advice, direction, tips, be able to give insight into the game, etc, things that would leave me blank in baseball, football, or any sport for that matter. I don't have kids now, but Im getting some practice with my nephews. Not knowing anything about sports, and going to games, I find myself really just a cheerleader, and I don't like it. That's a big reason I've started martial arts, I hope my children will take an interest in something I like, and I don't want to be a bump on a log when that happens.
 
going back to PA tomorrow for ten days...yippie! so excited for your place strombolis, teaberry ice cream, Troegs, etc.! I'll be in Pottsville, Cherry Springs (Cameron County), Shermans Dale, Harrisburg/"Hershey" and Milton/Rehoboth Beach, DE plus everywhere in between and some other places, I'm sure. I moved out here when I was 16, so I've been here for 18 years...hard to believe. I haven't been back in about 8 years, so it's been a long time. The Minchhoff Family Reunion is happening when I'm back, so I'll be seeing a lot of relatives I haven't seen in a long time.
 
if I ever go back to PA, first thing i'm doing is hitting the first joint that serves philly cheese steaks

then i'll go run up the steps to the Rocky statue like in the Rocky movie
