Lol, yeah I was shocked. Then she told me it wasn't the first time she's lost her dog. I'm like why am I giving him back?????
The nerve of that woman.I would have grinded her up for being such an ignorant and irresponsible dog owner......might've. even charged her a finders fee just for mouthing off about pit bulls.
Wow Eddie you've done well not to give her a piece of your mind , I would have told her the cheeky b , you've kept her fur ball safe for a week (which by the sounds of things is already more than she could manage ) with a PitBull present no problems , I was going to ask if she gave you any reward for finding her dog and caring for it but im guessing that was a no 
that's not the same thing as assuming & accusing owners of all kinds of crap beforehand & without evidence. That does bother me. Hope you never have to try operating under a 3-day-or-less, limitation on finding your dog, or else he is allowed to be adopted out or killed. plus all kinds of other 'pet' Regulations. it's not that simple or easy when things go wrong.
Yeah, my view is caused by terribly sad results other people have experienced, Not just whatever you said. Dogs removed from their own fenced yards, driven across the county and dumped, then confiscated by a different city shelter.
You may have worked out to be Superman on the other end of the stick This Time. but someday an ***hole could mess with your dog and that Cape you're sporting today might not carry you above the pull of gravity.
How hard is it to have a little compassion & patience while you don't yet know all the facts?
everybody gets their panties all up in a bunch condemning pet owners for an escaped pet.
let me tell you something, I turned PARENTS in for starving their children as punishment for "at least 5 days", according to ER exam. their kids were only temporarily removed from home & returned 3 months later. and they started **** all over again.
so sorry, pet owners "mistakes" not done out of cruelty are no reason to hang somebody up by their balls for public criticism.
and Superman, next time charge room and board.

Maybe its just me but when someone's dog escapes more than once it doesn't shine too brightly on the owner.I wouldn't even hav admitted that to a stranger yet that woman seems to have no problem with her dog wandering off.....good thing she is not into pit bulls
