Hahahaha thanks rocky :) not much fun working all day but there's fun to be had on the weekend (my kids ate going away with auntie ;) ) kinda try forget the age thing at this point in my life lol

Its also used as a slang term around here...almost the way that "mate"is used in some places,but on a much smaller scale.
 
My Irish mate says it too :D either that or big fella
In Manchester we say fella , lad or kidder
 
"Big fella" has also become popular to say in the past year or so.
