When I was dealing with my latest round of mice I forgot to check those sticky traps. Found a few stuck stiff. Felt bad lol

We were in our attic and found a spring trap or whatever that breaks there necks, there was a complete skeleton that just looked amazing, turned to near dust when we moved it, must have been there a long while.

Hello; I moved into this house six falls ago. The first five years I would catch dozens of mice in the basement in spring traps. This fall, so far, I have caught none and may have finaly blocked all their entry points.
I have used various baits on the traps and find that peanut butter works well.

Mice do damage. I had to replace some insulation in the walls due to mice nests. This reminds me, time to replace the peanut butter in the traps in the basement.

Hello; Many decades ago I went caving (spelunking) with several people. One cave near Pennington Gap VA. came to mind. We tied rope to a jeep bumper and repelled down into the cave around 75 feet.

The mouth of the cave was in a cleared field. The land owner had allowed some small shrubs to grow up around the mouth. When we got down to the bottom of the cave we set foot on piles of bones. Best we could tell animals would see the bushes and head for them only to fall to their deaths. Do not have any idea how thick the pile of bones was. There was a fairly fresh dead skunk on the pile.

We explored the cave but it turned out to not be extensive. At least we could only go a few hundred yards before we got to an underground stream that completly blocked the passage. Along the way we discovered the skeleton of a large cave rat on a narrow shelf. It was a complete skeleton and appeared to have just stopped to rest and died. This was back in the 1960's, so no pictures to post.

Only did that cave one time. The climb back up the rope was very hard.

Just a few gifts left to wrap and I have run out of paper...no way I'm going back out into the shopping madness so a few circulars will have to do.

not a question for me, I cook it, I do not buy it. That is my wife's job. Other wise whats the point in being married? she says why can you not put your stuff in the garbage, I says my job is not to put my crap in the garbage but to take the garbage out. This is how we keep the world turning properly on its axis. and besides the add upside down.

you do know that was a load of crap? Tho it is true I do not go grocery shopping, just not my thing and I throw to many things in the baskets that just aint needed.
