Lol, that's EXACTLY where he is. That's the last we heard from him, askin about ecoli!
did you read about the deep see humming? or buzzing noise? they came with one theory. but i am going with the most logical, as deep water fish rise and fall, they need to emit gas. so, the humming is , yes fish farting. As light penetration makes a dif when they rise or fall, the farting seems to coincide with the pattern.
Oh I am sure they do, was a off the wall from tossing them alka seltzer loaded squid. I hated sea gulls stealing my bait back in my pier fishing days. jig all night to have live squid and freaking sea gull come and pilfer them, flying rats in my book.
