The US is still doing pretty Okay last time I checked. We can lend you our president and leading party then you will realise how lucky you are. Just saying
Hello; I understand what you are getting at and do appreciate the difference. Our conditions are not as difficult as in some other places, but we are working on it.
Every country has issues and it will probably stay that way for the rest of time. The thing is Obama may have had some shortfalls for the US, but I'm pretty sure things haven't went completely downhill.
From the perspective of a 15 year old, politics are a strange thing since every person is affected differently by it and has their opinions ln it.
It takes work from people as well. People here are undertaking reform here. Women here earn on average 70% of the average male salary compared to 35% in the US. We still have raging poverty and corruption. Quota systems still create indirect discrimination. But you know what? The country has come a long way since Apartheid. We have issues but we are working on them to level out the problems lf the past. I'm sure there must have been benefits to what I think was a pretty decent US president.

hello; I like this and find an unexpected level of maturity in what you say. Right now around half of our population is very unhappy. Had the recent election gone the other way then the other half would be unhappy.
Hello; I likely am too close to and too focused on the things that I did not like or approve of to give him much credit. I was unhappy with the president who preceded him also. I seem to be in a group somewhere in the middle and have been somewhat unhappy for the last 16 + years.
We now have a leader from outside the established political machines. I hope this will make a difference. Remains to be seen, but there may be a bit of hope.
I try to think and act with a little maturity on here. I would rather analyse and interpret than go loud mouth about something as integral to society as politics. I also keep myself updated through international news and similar.
There will not be a president that makes everyone happy, but one that makes the country move forward is a good one.
I think that the US political system is very strange and has 2 very distinct sides and attitudes which has seemed to lead to a lot of divide. I wish more people read about the facts and analysed things better than simply going nuts over the first second hand news story that misses central facts that sway the story.
As a boy growing up in a bit of chaos I would like to make some sense of it. Hopefully this mindset helps me in the land that is now turning back slightly on people of European or similar descent. I hope all these race issues alleviate at some point
Yes but this is aside from a cabinet appointment,in one of his"on the way out F you tactics" he's given the Department of Homeland Security authority to step in and intervene in future elections if they see a need to do so.It hasn't gotten much news coverage but hopefully it gets done away with under the new administration.
So another person I knew died the other day, a lot of the great people I have known have died in the last few years and I would like to say to everyone this:don't smoke,and drink in moderation .(cigarettes and alcohol has killed most of em).

I think its great that your so mature for your age but some of us are older... more than others but do remember past presidents and time where we felt things were better than they are now. No way on the world i could fully understand the politics and struggles in africa by eeading anout it. You live there and know first hand, sme on this ide of the pond.
You touched on a great point...2 party system is a big part of the problem. This man has lied and lied and lied and lied and gotten away with it, his administration was the cause ofany conflicts around the globe and that just what we know about. Yet is touted at one of the best to ever take the office
