Hello; When the president elect snubbed the CNN reporter I got a chuckle out of that. I followed the campaigns on as many news programs as I could. The anti-Trump spin being easier to spot on some than others.
Right on... there isnt but this is what many people are so sick of. I dont care what the sec def's opinions on sex, religion, fish keeping or what ever are... i care about his opinions on issues that pertain to his job. The media bias in our country is soo out of control and this question was clearly an attempt to create headlines about how trumps cabinet is every ism and obia under the sun... i really believe most allot of people supported just because of the media trying to control the election.
I remember growing up and rich successful people were were almost looked up to, people would aspire to be successful... now if your rich/successful your a monster and you stole from society
its all media spin man lol. I still admire people who make great wealth, but the media spins the worst ones into the light because its great news. Look at that 30 something year old billionaire who is on trial in congress for his hedge funds and drug companies, the little douchenozzle that hiked that life-saving HIV drug price by literally 5000%. He basically spit in congress' face when he was on trial and hes a POS. I don't admire that even if he is richer than 90% of the country.
Its all media blitz, we have issues in this country for sure, but the media in more recent times has destroyed morale.
I have to agree, the country hasnt gone anywhere in the last 8 years, but I also have to agree, the US is still WAY better off than other countries.
My wife and extended family are from Venezuela, with the death of Chavez you'd think its improving, its not, its continually getting worse under Maduro. I constantly see the problems they're facing, and it makes me think, its really not that bad here comparatively.
For those of you that don't keep up with it, there is no food, no medicine, no basic needs, no law. People are waiting hours in lines for the chance at getting food and basic needs. if they run out, youre SOL. People are dying because of no basic medicines, criminals run the streets with the government helping. A little money, and you can get away with anything.
So really, its not that bad here regardless of what has happened in the last 8 years
