Lemme just mention now that plastic Christmas trees are a horrible abomination, why would anyone do that?

Because I have a cat that will eat a real one and make himself sick then there's the mess live trees make, the effort that goes into getting it home etc, etc.

Plus, live trees don't come in black and white.

Hello; I stopped using live trees a long time ago when the artificial trees started looking OK. No cutting of live trees, no needle mess, no risk of fire and no garbage are the main reasons.
The only thing missing is the smell of a live tree as it is slowly dying in my living room. I did like the smell.
Some of the fake trees look good.

I really hate that black friday is taking over thanksgiving. I like to eat till comatose, then relax all day. now its eat, then go rush to stand in lines.

I agree. We've never done it and i wont allow it...wife hates the idea too sonthats probably the real reason she hasnt gone...nothing to do with me putting my foot down

never payed attention to black Friday, and stopped having real trees some years back, between the price, mess and fire hazard and hassle, and kids being old enoff to not give a squat them days gone.
