Hello; Here is something that I noted in the avatar thread. Along the way a member called me a name. Not a real bad name. ( _ _ _ _ Nixon) if you leave off the Nixon). Another member posted a response and called him/her out on it. The name caller then posted that it was "preemptive" because I had done something to him/her in the past. That is the setup.
This made me think that first I have teee'd off a few people on this forum. Next that it must be that folks who have a grudge on about another member must look for opportunities to get back at them. Next that his may be why some threads get so hostile well out of proportion to the topic. Maybe the "kid" will start a new thread about this.
I must admit to not paying attention enough al the time as to who is posting what. I need to start listing those who are angry at me. Hope I have enough paper. Am I nuts or is this something real??

Its a blog, paying attention is not required. at your convenience. and nobody else.
What I gathered from that thread was certain people where going off on a rant about how they where offended about @jaws777 avatar and took it upon themselves to try to shame people about how they are insensitive to people's feelings. That was just the start of it all then it went on to other topics of "offensive" things. Just basically putting a big target on themselves, not expecting people to take aim and fire away. I am guilty of this myself.

I joined on my 13th birthday, went on like once every 4 months since then. I'm not concerned about other distant people's happenings
Not real...tbh i wouldnt change a thing, you've always been one of the most level headed people on the site. We have polity disagreed in the past (the hunters in my development comes to mind) but thats what make discussions interesting. Having different points of view

That pretty much does some it up. Admit i was part of the problem. Hypocrites are my weakness...i have room for personal growth lol
