in Monroe? come over this summer for ribs and a beer. my treat.Born in Mission Viejo, but raised mostly in Oceanside and now in Monroe though graduated from Bothell and spent time in Spokane. Though I admit to being raised a bit differently than most. Da is from a Georgia farm, spend 27 years in the Marine Corps and 15 out at the prison as a correctional officer. Mom was one of the actual, original California hippies. People can't understand how I can lean left on somethings (healthcare, education, enviorment, most social aspects) but lean right on others (military, guns, economy).
It's a product of how you were raised, not where you are from.

Sorry ta tell ya aboot this but uh... hockey isn't are national sport it's lacrose eh.... sorry
I actually knew that, but in all my visits up there, I've never heard anyone discussing or watching lacrose. Not saying it doesn't happen, just that the hockey love is real from what I've seen in probably 40+ visits and having several Canadian co-workers.
But Canada is definitely more than, how did one announcer put it? Oh yes, "5 hockey rinks surrounded by bears."
