I dropped a load of laundry into the washer before noticing that we were all out of detergent so I poured in some dish liquid.....anybody else ever do that?

I have never done it but can bet money someone has done it before. I personally would have done the same thing in that situation.

It turned out okay but I will pick up some proper detergent tomorrow.

I've used shampoo K krichardson and powdered borax from school. I grew up dirt poor. Sometimes you gotta get the job done and be resourceful

Oh I know it....we didnt even have washing machines growing up.I had to scrub my clothes in the bathtub and the sun was the dryer lol.

I thought you were going to tell us a story involving a lot of suds.

I had something like that in mind lol.
