Reminds me of a kid in Russia who was sitting in his car as he toyed with a live hand grenade...turned out to be quite a messy scene.

The superintendent of the Blue Mountain School District in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania has armed each of his school's classrooms with five gallon buckets of river rocks for the students to fend off any would be school shooters.
"If an armed intruder tries to gain entry into one of our classrooms they will face a room full of students armed with rocks and they will be stoned" said Dr. David Helsel.

The least insane approach to arming people in schools I have yet heard. It may actually work.
