Hello; The new supra is in fact a sister car to the BMW Z4. Toyota and BMW worked together to come up with the guts of the two cars. They will look somewhat different to be sure but do share a lot of common parts. A picture in a current car magazine showed a close up of some Supra suspension parts with a BMW sticker on them.

To me both cars are a waste as they will only be offered with an automatic trans. A true sports car has manual.
