On a completely different topic my housemate got me a gift while we were out today. He said he needed the toilet and disappeared for a bit then came back and we went about our day.
He wasn't in the toilet at all. He'd seen this in a shop window and went back to buy it for me because he knows I like Sailor Moon:

But it'll look good hanging up regardless! And hanging up it can't get lost or damaged. I love it!

Really? You've never played Pokémon Pokémon on a gameboy (or DS, not sure what you would of had being about the age to have experienced both) or something? I never even had a gameboy but I played it on my friends lolI don't know past

Pokémon and Sailor Moon were the Saturday morning cartoons I watched as a kid, among other shows.
Maybe I just had better cartoons as a kid than you did?
On a side note, I actually slept from when I went to sleep to about 10am-ish! Although I woke up feeling almost hungover for a couple of hours so hopefully that doesn't last much longer. If I can sleep like I did last night but no wake up feeling half dead that would be awesome!

My mum spent countless months trying to get a Charizard that wasn't orange in one of her games. She did finally get one and then my little brother released it on her. She has one now that he hasn't released (he's not allowed to touch mums DS anymore) but it took her a good 6ish months to get it haha
I grew up as (almost) a Hasidic Jew. I still sort of am one. No internet, no TV, no movies as a kid. I got my first video game when I bought 3 DSs in 10th grade (one was a 3DS) , but didn't play because I was embarrassed of how much better my friends where. I rented them out.
