The drift across the driveway is 3’ deep just to give an idea of how big the drift is off to the side.
Most roads are still closed this morning. The national guard was sent out to help stranded drivers.... my brother is still at a shelter waiting for the roads to open up so he can get home.

Yeah, it’s pretty crazy. We still have more snow in the forecast and temps staying well below freezing.
There is going to be a lot of flooding this year when spring finally shows up.

The snow is beautiful.. in the same way fire is beautiful. It can hold your attention and keep you in awe as it destroys everything around you.

It’s been a struggle this year to fight the ice and now all this snow has completely buried it. I’m fearing the worst at this point.

Hello; Just saw this. Do not look if you are squeamish. It is a hard thing to see.
I ride a bicycle and had two dogs come after me just weeks ago. I had to stop and put my bike between myself and the dogs. I was able to get away as these two were not as determined as the dog in the video. They have come out on me three times so far.
I called the county sheriff's office and a deputy did come. Do not know whose dogs they are. He told me I can shoot the dogs. I told him that I do not want to do that and that's why I called him. I have not had decent weather to ride the last couple of weeks so do not know if the dogs are still running lose.
That is hard to watch, I didn’t watch the whole thing.
I’m seeing a good reason now to keep rope on hand. Since the dog was so focused on him the others could easily have tied the dogs feet and took control of the situation.
We have a pitt, and they do not feel pain. Beating the dog will not stop it.
Thats tough to watch but at least people had the in the area were brave enough to help. My god the dog was so intense.
Do you know provoked the attack ? Shame had the dog been on a leash this wouldnt have happened. Looked like it took a hammer to finally get him off
