I don't see how a $20'000'000 windfall and a ban from a palace thousands of miles away can be classed as a "backfire". In my book that's a great day at the office!

It’s not always about money. Megan will never be an official princess. She almost became a royal, but is heretofore ejected.

So, Millions of women are sad now.

This chit is a big deal with all the bipolar women here, who fight to be seen as feminists in public, but dream of the opposite in private: being a pampered & celebrated princess.

It’s the curse of Disney. They ignore the part where palace intrigue causes people to backstab each other and ruin everyone’s lives, over petty matters of pride and money.

And that’s just the line to get into the restroom!

I was just kidding about the toilet of course, as those people have already all wet their pants, wondering if they’ll be shot out of the sky.

I believe the UK has agreed to take 20000 Afghan refugees over the next couple of years.

When they get their accomodation sorted and a regular social security payment I can't help wondering if all the homeless UK citizens living in cardboard boxes will be looked after in a similar manner.

Hello; Had an interesting truck repair issue last week. During a rainy day the wipers would only work on fast speed. I determined the fault was a wiper motor pulse control module. It was on a 2004 Chevy Silverado. Buried under the cowl and several steps to get at. Pulling the wiper arms was the toughest bit. Went to Autozone and they ordered a part for $48. Part was not correct and they could not find a correct part.
Went to O'Rillys and they could order a genuine GM part for $220.
Went to a junk yard and got a used wiper motor with the pulse unit mounted for $54. Took the pulse unit off and put it on my truck. It worked. So for a popular vehicle the salvage yard it a way to go. I probably have a good wiper motor to add to the clutter.

I had similar musings after hearing that large numbers of those fine folks will be brought here to the U.S....We have quite a large number of homeless citizens too.

I get the exact feeling of bewilderment over the overseas aid funding. In my eye, regarding these type of issues, you look after your own people before anything else, period. The suffering and poverty in most developed countries own backyards is appalling.

It's funny, because my viewpoint is sniffed at by some, yet shared wholeheartedly by the majority of everyday folks on the street like you and I.

This is a problem with all these DC servo motors. They have to have a computer circuit to run them. I have electric motors from the 1940s and they run fine. That’s like a 75 year old motor.

This will not be the case with DC servo motors. The motors will be fine, but the electronic circuits will fail on a routine basis.

It’s because they are certain that some rich guy is going to pay for it all, and not them, being practically on the dole, as it is.

I am certain that a lot of people will wind up in central California. Less expensive than other parts of California and the climate is much closer to Afghanistan than Hawaii. We have no problem bringing in new (theoretical) taxpayers.
