Look up rose rust :) Yes, it is a problem, and often from too much water on the leaves.
Part sun is best in your case. They may also be getting way too hot being against the house.

Thanks fw! I'll look that up. I think it must be the heat. They were neglected a long time so I don't think it was water. 2 of them grow really tall, it's just them dead looking leaves :/

They can regrow even from stumps, but I still would not do too much. Maybe Post a pic or two so we can see :)

wow that short? I kinda like the two big ones big. Guess I'll give em a whack. One rose seems to do nothing but just barely stay alive.
Lol, the one on the side of my house goes to the roof, it's probably 10-12' tall. Off the top of my head, it's the biggest rose bush I've seen.

Read up on rust disease before you go to town. Since they are so large and mature, I'd figure out what's going on first.

Here, they are deciduous, so they regrow nicely each spring - over there - not sure.

Anyone know if chilis can be used in a hydroponics/pothos Kind of setup? Thinking about sticking one or two in my pond.Prawn?

Hydroponics is a little different than putting some "in" a pond - but - you could give it a shot and report back!
Assuming it will get full sun - you could try putting some plants in a pot full of pebbles, and sinking that almost to the base of the plant - and see what happens. I don't have high hopes for it - but weirder things have happened.
