Great pictures, glad you finally got your camera! It's cool to see some freshwater pics.

Sent from my SM-G900T using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

thanks! There'll be a lot coming next weekend, assuming the lighting is good enough for good pictures since the forecast keeps changing for where I'm diving (I think they just guess :D)

It is crazy how much an overcast sky can kill your dive by limiting visibility for you. When we film, it's amazing to see how different it looks on the screen vs what we were really seeing in the water. Everything is three shades darker.
I've learned that the more advanced photographers are using all of their own lighting equipment underwater - even on the brightest days. That's several dollars out of my league. Haha

Me too, I'm not spending $300 on a light for a $500 camera!

Sooner or later I need to get some real pics instead of stealing screen shots off of video. Haha
Vis was great during this dive, but you'd never guess it when looking at the video.

Well my local dive club had a bunch of disputes on where to go and who can make it for the monthly trip but I can announce that we're going in two weeks instead of this week that way everybody can make it. Should be a good bit of us there for the trip. I'm probably keeping you guys in suspense for where I'm going but I'm keeping it a secret as a surprise :). A few clues I will give are it has amazing vis, tons of fish, and it's in NW Ohio.

Maumee River!? Just kidding.
I was born in Bowling Green. Between that, our pond and Lake Eric, they were the only natural bodies of water I got to see on a regular basis until the late 80's.

I think that'd be good place to dive, well snorkel, not sure how deep it is. Another hint is it's a quarry.

Only good things to come. I'll test run them lobstering at the end of July. New spearfishig fins! YAY that means I'll be diving more lol (and hopefully have some videos). I have to get some new booties for them but I am excited. Its been awhile since I've bought anything dive related.

This young female Southern showed up as everyone was getting loaded up. I only had my mask and fins. When I saw he I started swimming to follow while I struggled to get the GoPro out of my pocket and on again. Haha

She was about 36" across or so.
Such cool animals.
