Oh now I like these guys trifish. Glad to see your in the running. I especially like that you are raising yours with natural gravel.
damn nice fish and good job on growing them out guys., here is a STAGE II booster., this is what it may look like in Stage II but wild...stay focused guys!
I hope so I hope so.Do any of you guys use peat media in your filtration.
Since adding driftwood to my tank and removing all carbon , I use peat in my filter additionally.
I was curious about your thoughts of using peat.
The peat pellets I'm using are from Eheim.

I have one xingu at about 5in that is being grown out w/ the 4 freebie orino's I also got from Laz. I am feeding hikari bio gold sinking. He is in a 130g that is divided into 2.....him and the O's probably have 80g of it. Filtered by 3 penguin 350 hob filters and one smaller one. Temp is at 86-87. Water changes 1-2x a week about 40-60%.

Got mine in a 125gal with geos and clown loaches....Temp about 80, 50% water change every 2weeks,feeding feeders gut loaded, tries to sift gravel like the geos,2 ac110's and a fluval 405....pushing the 6inch range now.
