Del have a on and off switch when it comes to activeness, usually i notice that they are more active when they are hungry.
No wonder they were so lazy at London zoo haha, must be very well fed :)

I may need to cut back on the feedings...the senegal is showing the "beer gut"

Also, question for you guys...I saw my del last night after eating laying on it's side. Thought it was strange so i watched him carefully most of the evening and again this morning. She seems fine this morning, swimming around like normal. Is this common for them to lay on their sides? She honestly reminded me of myself after eating a large meal.

Sometimes i see this with overeating. Especially cb polys. Just watch for now and if able to reduce the amount of food eaten then it’ll stop some of what ur seeing.

Ahh good to know. Thanks guys. I've been feeding daily. Not much at each feeding but daily nonetheless. I'll cut back.

I was feeding every day for a week or two lately and I noticed my sen and del were developing serious beer guts. I cut it back to every other day and they've leaned down a lot already.

My CB is doing well on 3-5x a week feeding. They don't need as much food as you think :p
