Sorry for the double post, But, Jags, GT's, JD's, Oscars, will most likely get along in a 180gal when raised from juvie's

RTC and PACU are the worst choices.... not only can 99% of people not house them but once you grow them up and want to get rid of them its impossible.... Killing them is your only resort. So get rid of the fish and tell your friend he cant even grow them up. Sorry to say this but most people are not dumb enough to buy an rtc, and only retards would buy a rtc bigger than a foot long
I hate when ppl say ALL or MOST "can't" do something. You have to be a RETARD if you think ALL or MOST ppl can't house a RtC or a PACU. I have ny pacu in a 300 gallon stock tank and he's only 8 inches (little over a yr old). My garage will house a swimming pool if need be (once/if he outgrows 300 gallons).

Let's be realistic, 99% of people cannot house or take care of RTC and Pacus properly. Most zoos and public aquariums won't take extra rtcs and Pacus in. It is not uncommon that people released pacus and rtcs in lakes and rivers.

Something does not sound right if your pacu is only eight inches at a little over a year old and, good luck heating a swimming pool adequately enough to keep a full grown pacu comfortable.
