I have heard of that island before.....at least Disney has given it back to nature for the time being.
It is surprising. I’d have expected Disney to rebuild river country by now.

.....guess they don't want to run the risk of any more amoeba killing anyone after spending all that money to reopen!

Someone did concept art of what a post apocalyptic Disney world would look like…that’s pure nightmare fuel.
I dunno...I find the idea of spending a day in today's Disney World creepy enough to qualify as "nightmare fuel"...

The idea of spending all your money within an hour isn’t fun to you!?

Lol...oddly, no...:)

But I'm not fond of being stuck in the middle of monstrous crowds at the best of times. When the crowds are composed of groups of hot, sweaty, tired, impatient people...interspersed with a higher-than-average proportion of screaming kids...sprinkled with minimum-wage earners trapped in stifling, 50-pound costumes and masks for an entire work shift...

...<<<shudder>>>...

Zombie apocalypse, anyone? :nilly::WHOA::drool:

For someone who suffers from Veloxrotaphobia, Acrophobia, Coulrophobia with a smattering of Agoraphobia thrown in the mix too, theme parks are not my cup of tea, lol.

...<<<googling furiously>>>...holy crap, man...you're a mess...:ROFL::nilly:

I think my only major phobia is a fear of being trapped in a theme park with a bunch of people who all suffer from multiple phobias...:)

I hate people and corporate Disney…but I’ll always love the parks.
Navigating the crowd is the fun part - there’s a science to it!
Seems like we’ve veered off a bit from deer lol

Every thread that me and John partake in always veers off somewhere, lol. I'm surprised we haven't had warnings for threadjacking!

Deers are boring anyway, lol.
