I hate days like that. Lost over $14K worth of fish over a weekend when the central pump failed and the backup didn't kick on. Returned home that Sunday night to a kill zone.

That sounds like a really bad week. I'm sorry to hear it. As for your ich, I may be able to be of some service. http://www.novalek.com/kordon/ich_attack/index.htm I got this stuff after a clown loach I got had ich. I followed the instructions and in about a week the spots were gone and I continued treatment until about 3-4 weeks, and it hasn't come back. It doesn't cost much, and it may work for you.

big woop my gf lost her suitcase with all her clothes, her expensive laptop with all her college projects on. somebody stole it from her on a train. i´m sorry but I dont think a few fish that werent cared for properly can really count as being the worst week of your life.

Way to be supportive -__- I had this experience about a year ago. And in my experience raising the temp and doing constant water changes takes care of ich faster than meds.

well I´m sorry when I came home from holiday to find an entire salt tank wiped out with some rare fish in it (panda puffer, Polleni grouper) I didn´t instantly make a thread stating its the worst day of my life. Fish die, and there is always a reason. If everybody on here whined when their fish died and made threads they would have to open a whole section for it.

Be nice! come on he lost some fish!

My fish die time to time I recently had a 7 inch cichlid and a 12 inch pleco. They died from columnaris.

I´m not trying to be mean, but as hobbyists we have all lost lots of fish over the years, I´ve kept fish for over 10 years.
it helps us improve our methods and husbandry when fish die, its an important lesson to learn with this hobby.

I´ve never had a single fish die from ich, I just buy this stuf that turns the water green Myaxazin or something, you dose the tank with it and after a few days its all gone. there are lots of products on the market for this so its not too bad.
