Haven't seen very many discussions about the oil spill on here so im wondering for any MFK'ers that live down south by the spill how is it affecting the fish? Or any other wildlife for that matter? Ive seen the birds covered in oil but not much about the fish.

yeah i saw that too. Those poor birds. :(

I've seen pictures of fish, dolphins, sharks, and birds. I wish I lived closer to help with the clean up
me too. :)

Rumor has it they are hiring people for clean ups for between $20-$30 an hour. Only thing is,expect headaches, vomiting, dizziness, and pooping on yourself. Other than that,it isn't bad money.Sounds like your typical t.v. medicine advertisement. Oh and you will probably get cancer later in life also but hey-we all gotta die of something right? So go get that money folks! Just think of all the fish you can buy.
Before I forget, all tuna will now be packed in oil instead of spring water, courtesy of good ol' BP! Isn't that all just tastey info!

sad part is, that sounds a lot better than a normal day in office supply retail

Okay if anyone here can answer this question on a serious note-please do... So... If we drill for oil-oil starts coming out- and we then put in this giant pump do hickey and get rich....well....call me crazy but couldn't they have just pushed another pump into this thing by now and just started sucking it out like normal operation?
