i'd stayed at my gf's lastnight and not been home for 36hrs.... walked in to find as in picture, on closer inspection all i can find wrong is this:

like mold on inside of gill plates, he does/did have gill curl when i got him two week ago and it had just started to straighten out?

Anyone explain more? and what do i do to stop this? my other rtg and black dont look to happy! im worried, feel sick and want to cry so please excuse me not being on point with my posting or wording.... ive lost a irreplaceable bowfin and now a endangered sp what a weeek... :cry:

If i lose my aro i out the game.... if i lose my other bowfin god no's il need some medication i suppose.....
 
Well the water looks slightly cloudy and there are a lot of bubbles accumulating at the surface that is generally a bad sign for water quality. Check your pH as well. A big pH swing could have caused an ammo spike.

hmm? both just showing, inbtween 0-0.25 odd havn't had ammonia show up for ages? and bio load of the tank has been reduced to?
 
50% wc n salt coming up, but temp is 82 and there is a lil salt in the water anyway???
 
Do you vaccum your substrate? Make sure to get it good and ensure there is not a pocket of funky bacteria accumulating somewhere.
