that makes no sense, there's something in the water you are adding, please check the prams of the new water with a new tesk kit. get back to us.

both canister filters have 1/3 of the canister is bio sponge and the rest is sponge filter. and yes i am yousing stress coat which is a dechlorinater.

how long has your tank been set up? all that carbon could increase the amount of time it will take for your tank to cycle.

tank has been going for about 3 weeks. tests with tap water and stress coat+ no2-0 test with prime no2-0 those are the two dechlorifiers i have i youse stress coat tho

i did that last night and all was well that is y im so lost how do you do a 90% water change on a tank and not see any improvments ? im doing anther change right know of about 90% to try and save my other aro that at this point im gessing he has a few more hours if m lucky

and for 90% change 2 no difference in n02. how in the hell can you do a 90% water change and im not talking a 10g tank here im talking changing 200g of 220g tank and not see any improvement i dont get it this is retarded

im guessing at the carbon is saturted and redepositing junk in the tank... imo pull the carbon, and give all the media a good rinseing... replace the carbon with biomedia. vaccum your gravel everytime you do a water change, and do alot of them until your perameters get back in control... nitrites that high suggest you had a prior ammonia swing... ammonia spikes can bomb your bacteria and restart a cycle... imo this is whats going on. your back to square one with a heavily stocked tank. stop feeding and do massive water changes the next week or more and keep testing.
