OK MFK! Inspire me! (DIY idea)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No need to settle for just lizards. You could use the panes to make 4 plywood terrariums. The 1/4 glass will hold water to 15" to 17" level. You could house fish with some awesome bog plant.
How about a brackish tank with Anableps, archers, and mudskippers? Add marsh plants to conseal the crickets that'll keep the archers alert and provide a large mudflat area for the mudskippers to forage and play on.

Thats an awesome idea. would 17" of water be deep enough for adult archers?

Don't do it man!!!!!LOL...I've seen it firsthand. Only the pane of glass was 8' x 6' x 1/2". Dumb subcontractor decided it would be easier for them to break the glass into smaller pieces instead of waiting for the guys with the suction cups to come and take it. The thing broke into a million pieces and they ended up having to clean it up for hours after, not to mention having to repair the damage they caused to the floor.

Great idea! Didn't think of that :).

I'll have to show you the video of me throwing a rock through a 300 gallon tank, I know tempered glass can be fun (and messy) LOL
