OK MFK! Inspire me! (DIY idea)

you could make a tank about 12-15 inches deep and make it have half land half water and get a couple turtles and some fish that get too big for the turtle to mess with and maybe some frogs.

I like the floor to ceiling idea myself, that would be something you don't see often. What's to stop you from merging both ideas?

Use the floor to ceiling tank setup, put 15" of water and some rocks/bog wood/ mud. Then some nice trees and tall plants, there you have room for small fish, mudskippers, chameleons and them crickets to feed everybody.

That would be one of a kind!

That's easy! You can make a bottomless fishtank, HAHA! j/k...

The span of the glass vs. the 1/4" thickness doesn't really lend itself to holding water if you used them in their existing state. I'd think that the glass itself would bow excessively. Only real option to do anything for fish would be to have the glass cut and make smaller tanks out of it.

If I had that glass in my possession, I would actually have it cut and make glass tops out of it, being that I'm notorious for cracking them, haha....but that's just me :).

Aint no cuttin hapenin on this if it's tempered...
