OK NEW THOUGHTS NEED INPUTS :)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sweet I love snowflakes I just figured theyd be to big or something. I thought that was the maderins that were like that I forgot just wanted to make sure and thanks for that :). now if I get a angler though what fish do you think would be okay that I could put with it and keep it in the 55g

whats a FOWLER lol

Fish Only With Live Rock-Basically means no corals. As far as the angler, you have to keep fish bigger then it. In a 55 gallon, most fish you can keep would fit it its mouth. They can eat fish the same size as themselves, kinda creepy to watch.

ahhh okay, uhmm not sure I want to get some coral later on down the road like maybe next summer once my tanks up and running for a good solid few months and that i may add a couple things. And darn that stinks i really wanted one I love those things. but I cant have another tank that only houses that because Ill have to hear my mom go why do you have one fish in a tank that big??? lol

You could get an angler and keep the eel with no issues, if you keep him well fed he may leave your other fish alone. It's a big maybe though....

Of course another thought, scrap the corals entirely and you could do a lion fish, angler, and the eel, like a quasi aggressive tank. lol

Not all of them, they can be more hardy then fish in many instances. It really just depends, some have high lighting/flow requirements and others have very minimal requirements. Like everything in the hobby, it just depends on which species you are interested in. Bear in mind that FOWLR has no lighting requirements which saves a nice chunk of change, reef capable lighting is ridiculous.
