OK, so here's my 125 CA setup, FTS and stock...

I just spent half an hour googling 3D backgrounds. Your tank evokes inspiration. Nice job!

There's a few out there, but I really like Designs By Nature. I have 4 backgrounds from them, plus some of their wood and rocks. Always been super happy with the quality and customer service.

Thanks. I don't think the care that much, if you look at Aquamojo's setups he doesn't do anything fancy and his fish obviously are extremely happy and healthy, water quality and proper layout for hides are the most important thing IMO.

Water quality and a good layout are important I agree...but to make a fish feel 'at home', so is good aquascaping to a certain extent. Being healthy and growing into a big beautiful fish is different from feeling comfortable and natural in it's enviroment. I dunno maybe it's just something I'm conjuring up in my head lol.

Yeah, but unless all your fish are wild caught (I know mine aren't), natural to them is likely what they've known their whole lives... Which is likely flowerpots and PVC, etc.

I mean, my ancestors lived outdoors, but I'm more comfortable in a bed with a roof over my head. :D

Really love the tank... great job. Can't wait to see what it all looks like when your done moving them around (other tanks and all). Thanks for posting.

Thanks, me too haha!

Thanks! I was wondering how much room it takes front to back.

OK, I will take pics when I get home today. It definitely takes up some width, it's really a double edged sword because you get room behind the BG to hide everything but lose some space. You can even DIY a modified mattenfilter behind your BG, which I plan on doing with this tank (it has an FX5 right now among other things). There's also the slim line BGs that only take up like 1" and are easier to install.

The Black Belt pair is looking good, you should try that female at A to Z. She was much nicer than the one you got. Your Agentea have a lot of growing in meantime before you can breed them.

I know, trust me I've thought about it. Just too busy right now to get into trying to force pair with an aggressive male. Still hoping she gets in the mood. My cubans are about to spawn again too, I haven't gotten rid of any of the previous fry.
