wow, 4 year old thead and still goin strong. Too bad most cons are bought to breed feeders and not necesssarly for the long run or we'd see more of these brutes. my lfs has a ton of big ones that they'll never sell since people just buy the smaller ones for cheap
 
Amazing! I have seen two huge male pink convicts few years ago at my LFS, about 5" but they are very thick and deep bodied.

My cons are still young, but they have blue and orange on their bodies and fins... I have 2 breeding couples out of 4 different bloodlines. They are the traditional black and grey, but over here no one wants to buy convicts. They say they are too vicious... I say poo to those people.
I'll see if I can get a decent pic of them and post it here, even though they are only about 5 cm at the moment.
 
Just picked up a potential monster at my LFS today, he was in with some red devils, he was discounted at $1.50, big big big potential with that hump and that full body...

Thanks! I hope he fills out at all, he just got introduced into my 55 with a 3.5" texas, who hates him... So the texas is in a breeder box while the con gets settled in over the next few days, tank rearranged.

This is my male..he is about 4 inches in this pic and is bigger now...and getting thick i need newer pics of him..^_^
Question... i don't see many cons with thick black lines like my male (and my female shes tailess and you can see her in the background of one of the pics)
..question is do they lose the stripes as they get older?..like fade or something ?.
I hope not i love the bold lines of cons..both in and out of breeding dress.
