Heres my Boa C. Constrictor, Suriname Redtail:

Just after cleaning this quarrantaine tank, cause he had worms even in his pee.
Now hes treated, and doing better every day. Ate a small rat yesterday.

But still Im afraid of the temper of this wildcaught. I know its my vibe, but I cant change it.
Maybe when he has more weight, Im less stressed to handle him.

I wonder how long it'll take to see him healthy. For now he's in high humidity,
has a heated pool, and a basking spot (only uvA).
When he's healed, and in his own enclosure, he'll still has a basking possibillity, but less intens.

My other two snakes (Rainbowboa and Burmese), are also treated, but less
sick, so they're very unwell by the medicine. See how they go today.
Rainboa may eat today if she wants, but shes so white.
Either shedding or unwell. Hmmm
I didnt see her eyes that cloudy.

Hoping it all works out for the best for you.

Thanks.
He is peeing a lot, and I keep cleaning a lot.
He looks more healthy, as wel as the other two.
The Burmese has eaten yesterday, and the Rainbow is going to today, I might hope.
Looks better today. :chillpill:

I heard yesterday my LRS 's going to get Reticulated Pythons next week.
Gonna be difficult to hold my horses for one of them.
Im building and reading and preparing for an Anaconda.
Maybe a Retic on the side?
I only have one room to spare, thats the difficulty.

Or moving my whole herpetology and ichtyology to a BIG ground floor appartment, within 2 years.
Well it seems it doesnt matter where you live, its how you live, so
I'll squat an empry hotel somewhere. Rooms to spare..

OH no! Squating issnt legal anymore here in my low home land.
How low can you go..

What I mean is if I home another small Boid, I have two years to finish their
final enclosures.
So..

Smart Burmese doesnt ingest his mulch:

And for the Brazilian Rainbow Boa, the simmilarity with a yellow anaconda is somewhere noticable:

Sure thing for me is the Green Anaconda, or as I rather name it, the Big Anaconda,
(because the Beni Anaconda (Eunectes Beniensis), is also green but hardly doesnt reach the unimaginable size of the Murinus. As I have red).
I would also like to keep some Yellow Anacondas some day.

youre buying one snake after another! i understand because i guarantee that the week i move out and get my own apartment or something im gonna go buy a few retic morphs, some burms, and a yellow anaconda and a male green, a few red tails, and some smallish pythons. probably an argentine tegu as well. i cant wait. 5 years is too long in my book:irked:

Some plans there Gigas! Nice list!. euh.. some burms?

You know, Im not so much buying them, I give em a place to stay.
And they are mine, to avoid problems in ownership. All cites-backed up.
My anaconda would be the second healty herp I'll take in.

Little history:
My first favourite animal was the anaconda. Didnt saw it much on tv
back in the years '75-'85 though, so I swiched to the hippo.
Now Im 37 and have owned every calvinistic pet there is.
Still no hippo, that is, (and no dog btw).
Calvinistic because I think my whole homeland is drenched in it.
And I despite that. Holds back the creative and inventive people.
My mother died unexpectedly when she was 52 years old, and my father died at 68. Cancer.
Took him 18 months to fade away. No fun.
So Im half way the time I have gender wise, I reckon.
Its now or never.
:irked:

Snakes all go well, have to spam another of the Rainbowa in her tub:

She doesnt shed yet, but shes getting brighter and brighter.
Placed a swamp basking spot in her enclosure, which has a very brightening
reddish shine on the animal. Very iridescent.

And in comparison the Burmese, in the same type of pool:

Hes about 4'1".

No pics of the Redtail, but hes going strong and besides the little feigned attacks,
well to handle.
Now hes in his own enclosure, hes less stressed. Called him Wilson.
After the handball ball from Cast Away, with Tom Hanks.:D

one of my tortoises:

Sorry Wilson.

0408201010363 [640x480].jpg
Swamp spot with a lot of red, till 2000nm. Bit cheating. :D
But maybe on the Suriname forest floor, there is the same kinda spectrum?

See my anxiety?
0408201010368 [640x480].jpg

So happy shes doing fine. She takes more care than a Burmese, for sure.
Fed my Burmese called Bayon on the floor today.
Its stunnishing to see. Impresionante.
Very fond of my Burmese.

As P.S. I get the slight feeling there are many herps in holland in search of a happy home.

This is what the sun does to my frontdoor:

Due to a tank in the hallway which breaks the early mornig light.

And some more of my Brazilian rainbow boa:

Such a well to handle 6'6"er.
0608201010409 [640x480].jpg
Yep. Since shes arrived here two weeks ago shes growing very fast.
And shes already eight years old.
