Sorry Ollie, I didn't mean to imply you were getting the bosc because others have been. They are cool monitors in their own right, I've just noticed quite a few people on the forums have gotten them recently.

Your animals (and enclosures) are very high quality and very well taken care of. I don't have a herp or fish room yet, but I will once I finally get to move to a new house. Hopefully my future herp room (and future herps!) look as nice as yours do!

Oh sorry for the misundertaking, I didnt mentioned that at all.
I noticed it is a species which because of its low price and misunderstandings about its needs (it should be an easy to keep herp) is becoming a more commonly kept herp.
And thankyouverymuchfor thecompliment!

Here is the African savannah monitor on his balcony:

And its only his (characteristic) nose, I dont want to force him too much yet.
Acclimatize on his own terms.

And the golden tegu:

Who now lives in a 100-50-50cm paludarium.

A female Haitian red sided iguana:

I splitted the group of six in two; one male with two females.
Works better for them.

And my Solomon tree boa is eating live pinkies now:

Along with several long tailed lizzards and tjiktjaks.
Looks like he's making up some feeding time.
Speaking of tjiktjaks, I also took a tokay home yesterday.
Almost fullgrown and dunno if its a male or a female yet, but it makes some noise!
Ill post a pic of him later. Stunning creature.

These I took just now:

On top the savannah, and the tegu in the bottom one. See him on top of the bananaplant?

I cant get the light working yet.

Very nice! I love the live plants in the tegu enclosure. I'd love to add some live plants to my rhino iggy's terrarium, but I can't think of any that he wouldn't eat or that wouldn't be dangerous for him if he did eat them...

Thanks!
This is a bananaplant and a 27 year old bromelia.
I think a rhino iguana could do with a bromelia? Any kind of. Or not?
Its not a poisonous plant, for all I know.
And by the way, it takes a lot of plants to keep your little herp happy.
But ey, all for the animae.
